(BPRW) Sofn'free to Award 10 Women with Year's Supply of Hair Care at World Natural Hair Show

(BLACK PR WIRE) -- ATLANTA (April 25, 2011) -- Sofn'free, the African-American hair-care brand of 30 years that revitalized its product lineup in 2010 with the launch Sofn'free GroHealthy, will award a year's supply of hair treatments to 10 women who visit its booth during the World Natural Hair, Health & Beauty Show in Atlanta, April 30 and May 1, 2011.

Sofn'free formulates its products with cold-pressed virgin olive oil from Italy, protein from milk casein, and oil from Sacha Inchi, a star-shaped pod rich in Omega 3 and harvested from the Amazon rainforest. Mixed together, they mimic the basic composition of hair: protein, water, lipids and minerals.

Sofn'free GroHealthy's lineup consists of six treatment products that celebrate natural texture, help transition hair to natural, and repair hair when needed. The Three-Layer Growth Oil and Strengthening Crème condition the hair shaft and root, lessening chances of brittleness, breakage, dryness and split ends. The twice-monthly recommended Really Deep Conditioning Treatment, weekly Leave-in Treatment and Daily Growth Lotion offer a range of uses and solutions to maintain or repair hair to a healthy state. This June, Sofn'free will introduce Argan & Olive Oil Nourishing Sheen Spray that delivers a triple does of shine in a light, non-greasy formula.

Attendees who visit the Sofn'free booth at the upcoming natural hair show will meet Sofn'free's Director of Education and Master Cosmetologist Will Williams and receive product samples and information on caring for natural hair. "With summer around the corner, women are interested in learning how to deal with the season's fluctuations in humidity," said Williams. "We'll describe how our products help hair absorb moisture and suggest to women some hairstyles that best suit their hair type, their lifestyle and the shape of their face. We'll recommend treatment regimes to improve or maintain the condition of their hair, and of course, we'll let them try some Sofn'free for themselves."
