(BPRW) FCAA ANNOUNCES 2014 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

(BLACK PR WIRE) -- Miami, Florida – The Family Christian Association of America, Inc. (FCAA) is pleased to announce that their 2014 Scholarships have been awarded to Elizabeth Clervil, Da’Marco Milton and Chrislyne Floreal. These scholarships are awarded to those students demonstrating excellence in the classroom and in the community. FCAA is committed to encouraging youth to pursue their dreams through higher education.

Elizabeth Clervil graduated from Miami Northwestern High School with a 4.3 GPA. Her extra-curricular activities includes: FCAA Teen Leadership Club, Women of Tomorrow, Health Occupations Student of America and The National Honor Society. Elizabeth will be attending The University of Florida.

Da’Marco Milton, a recent graduate of Miami Carol City Senior High, will be attending Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University this fall pursuing a degree in Pharmacy. Da’Marco is President of Miami Kappa League and former member of the 5000 Role Model of Excellence Program. Some of his community service activities include health walks, Breast Cancer Health initiatives, toy and book bag drives.

Chrislyne Floreal is a student at Florida Memorial University majoring in Psychology. Chrislyne has a 3.8 GPA and has been on the Dean’s List and Honor roll. In her spare time she is an Assistant Women’s Track and Field Coach at Florida Memorial University and a member of Sister’s United Dance Team. She was also a youth mentor for United Youth Volunteer, Inc.

FCAA, incorporated on February 9, 1984, is a non-profit, social and human services organization. FCAA serves communities and helps its members achieve independence through emphasis on Christian values, strong families, and self-determination. The organization’s program areas include Youth Development, Family Services, and Sports.
