(BPRW) College Students Join the Movement in Keeping Our Paradise Litter Free!

College Greek and Club Challenge Gets Underway!

(Black PR Wire) -- Miami, FL -- Sir Rodney, a senior at Florida Memorial University, has committed to the Florida Department of Transportation’s “DRIVE IT HOME ... KEEP OUR PARADISE LITTER-FREE®” campaign movement by entering the statewide Trash Off College Greek and Club Challenge. During the Challenge, participants are encouraged to express how they will dispose of litter to their audiences.

In Rodney’s submission, he rapidly shoots paper balls into a trash can to showcase how he and members of FMU could eliminate litter campus-wide. Rodney’s love for basketball inspired the concept of his submission and he thought it would be a fun way to promote a litter free campus and community. “A litter-free campus and community is very important to me because no one likes to live in filth,” says Rodney. “I want to advise my peers that it doesn’t hurt to wait until you see a trash can to throw something away. Littering is just a sign of carelessness and we all have to do our part in keeping our communities clean.”

Sir hopes that his submission will encourage his peers to “Drive it Home … Keep Our Paradise Litter Free!” College students throughout the state of Florida are encouraged to participate in this challenge. Entries can be submitted at CleanFLRoads.com.
