(Black PR Wire) MIAMI – Members of the Florida Department of Transportation “Drive It Home” team will attend the 24th Annual North American Waste-to-Energy Conference (NAWTEC) scheduled from May 23 – 25, 2016 in West Palm Beach, FL. The conference is recognized as the industry’s premier technical conference and trade show focusing on municipal waste-to-energy operational issues and policy.

The team will have a booth during the event where attendees will have to opportunity to stop by and learn all about the campaign. Those who visit the booth will also receive free educational materials, handouts and campaign information.

The 24th Annual North American Waste-to-Energy Conference (NAWTEC) brings together leaders from the waste-to-energy sector to discuss the best thought leadership and the most recent innovations in today’s waste-to-energy market. NAWTEC24 will feature the latest on managing existing facilities for maximum success, as well as exploring the best opportunities to develop new facilities to recover energy from waste.

Built around the theme, “DRIVE IT HOME . . . KEEP OUR PARADISE LITTER-FREE®,” the campaign aims to reduce the incidence of littering on Florida highways, promote pride in the beauty of Florida’s landscapes and educate Florida motorists about the dangers and hazards of roadside litter.
