(BPRW) BOLAY NAMED MARCUM’S MOST INNOVATIVE EMERGING COMPANY OF THE YEAR AT THE 2019 FOOD & BEVERAGE SUMMIT

The $2,500 cash prize was donated to local charity partner, Student ACES

(Black PR Wire) MIAMI, FL  – Bolay, the hottest new restaurant concept in the fast-casual dining scene, is the 2019 winner of Marcum’s Most Innovative Emerging Company award at this year’s Food and Beverage Summit. The Marcum Food & Beverage Summit brings together top food and beverage executives committed to innovation and excellence in the food industry. As winner of the Most Innovative Emerging Company Contest, Bolay was awarded a cash prize of $2,500, which it donated to its favorite local charity partner, Student ACES.

“Giving back to the community that supports us is a core part of the Bolay Way,” says Chris Gannon, CEO of Bolay. “As an advisor for Student ACES, I see firsthand the dedication this organization has to building future leaders and creating positive impacts in schools and communities. Our entire team is committed to Student ACES’ vision and we are honored to have the opportunity to support them as they continue to bring this vision to life.”

Student ACES was founded in 2013 in an effort to create a pathway for young men and women to achieve the highest standards of leadership. The non-profit foundation works directly with student athletes across Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami Dade County by offering mentoring groups, a captains’ summit, and leadership workshops, in addition to a yearlong program designed to develop strong leadership skills and work ethic.

“Within six short years, we have had the privilege of positively impacting the lives of over twelve thousand students,” says Krissy Webb, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Student ACES. “Thanks to Bolay’s generous donation, we’ll be able to fund a full year of programming for several students and continue on our mission to inspire and develop athletes to become men and women of character, honor and integrity.”

Bolay and Student ACES have worked together in the past by providing jobs in their local restaurants for those part of the Student ACES. “Graduates from the program are some of the best employees we have,” says Chris Gannon. “Student ACES teaches important interpersonal skills that are proven valuable to the team, the company and ultimately, our guests.”

Bolay currently has ten locations throughout Florida – Boca Raton, Gainesville, Palm Beach Gardens, Pembroke Pines, Royal Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, and Lake Nona, Jupiter, and Winter Park. Restaurants are open seven days a week – 11am-9:30pm Monday-Saturday and 11am-9pm on Sundays.
