Meek, former U.S. Congresswoman (retired) and true legendary leader of our time, recently received The Women’s Fund Impact Award during the organization’s 25th Anniversary and Power of the Purse Annual Luncheon. The introduction of this inaugural award recognized the Congresswoman in honor of her extraordinary contributions to women, our community and those in need. Miami-Dade County Commissioner Barbara Jordan presented the award.
