POWER RISING SUMMIT FOR BLACK WOMEN 2019 ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL SPEAKERS

Power Rising 2019 is thrilled to announce additional speakers to its lineup of inspiring black women who will join more than 1,000 women from around the United States in New Orleans, Louisiana February 22nd– 24th. . .  In addition to Congressional Black Caucus member Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) who will speak at the opening plenary session on Friday, Congressional Black Caucus Chairwoman Karen Bass (D-CA), Joyce Beatty ( D-OH3), Yvette Clarke (D-NY), Jahana Hayes (D-CT), Robin Kelly (D-IL), Barbara Lee (D-CA), Terry Sewell (D-AL), Lauren Underwood (D-IL) and Bonnie Watson-Coleman (D-NJ) will also be in attendance.  Chirlane McCray, First Lady of New York City, and Grammy award-winning singer Erica Campbell will also join this year's summit for what promises to be another history making gathering of Black women.  The full schedule of speakers and events can be found at www.powerrising.org.

Media Credentialing Information:

Members of the media who wish to cover open press events at Power Rising 2019 must email their full name, DOB, contact information and media organization to: contact@powerrising.org NO LATER THAN 10:00AM THURSDAY FEBRUARY 21ST .  A confirmation email will be sent by 5:00 PM on Thursday, February 21stalong with information regarding credential pick up.  NOTE: media credentials will be required to cover events.
