(BPRW) Lexicon Branding Adds Two Vice Presidents to Support Growth and Expand Its Naming Services

(BLACK PR WIRE) -- SAUSALITO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Despite weak economies across the globe, Lexicon Branding has recently created two new VP positions, hiring two advertising veterans to support current clients and to expand the company’s strategy and research businesses.

According to David Placek, Lexicon’s President and Founder, “The strong demand for Lexicon’s creative services is driven in part by today’s extremely challenging business environment world-wide. The pressure on companies to launch new products with effective brand names, that support simple and compelling value propositions, is greater than ever.”

Prior to joining Lexicon, Birks worked at Carol H. Williams Advertising, Alberto-Culver and FCB/Chicago. In 2011, he was honored by Black Enterprise as one of the “Top Executives in Advertising & Marketing”. “I’m excited to be a part of the Lexicon team,” says Birks, “and look forward to helping clients uncover and bring to life unique yet relevant stories for their brands through naming.”

Pile comes to Lexicon with more than twenty years of global brand development experience including work with Coca-Cola, Unilever, AT&T and Heineken among others. Pile says, “Lexicon has a tremendous creative portfolio and I hope to bring my experience to contribute to Lexicon’s and our clients’ new product successes.“

Lexicon Branding is focused on the development of strategic brand names for products, services and companies. Since 1982, Lexicon has worked with clients as diverse as Apple and Starbucks to create some of the world’s most disruptive brand names. The company’s credentials include BlackBerry, OnStar, Embassy Suites, Pentium processors, Dasani, Swiffer, Optima, and Febreze.
