(BLACK PR WIRE) – (Miami Gardens, FL) -- Today, the Jessie Trice Community Health Center (JTCHC) officially opened the doors to their new, state-of-the-art health care facility, located in Miami Gardens. An impressive list of community leaders, elected officials and senior administrators were at the morning celebration, which took place at 4692 NW 183rd Street, and participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“We were delighted to have such a warm welcome to this wonderful city,” says Annie R. Neasman, RN, MS, President and CEO of the Jessie Trice Community Health Center. "We have hit the ground running and know that we look forward to providing exceptional service and quality care."
Primary care services to be offered at the facility include family medicine, OB/GYN and pediatrics. Additional services that will be available on site include HIV rapid testing, Healthy Start, Diabetes Education Programs, Behavioral Health, Nutrition, Health Connect In Our Community, Medication Assistance Program, Certified Application Counselors (provides assistance to individuals accessing and enrolling in the Insurance Marketplace); and Transportation.
“Our healthcare providers are ready, willing and able to supply comprehensive primary care services to those in need,” adds Dr. Deborah George, Chief Clinical Officer. “Key features of our new facility include: 11 examination rooms, a laboratory, and a conference room dedicated for Patient Education Programs.”
Quality healthcare providers for the Miami gardens facility include: Bruce Peters, D.O., a 23-year industry veteran specializing in Internal Medicine, Addiction Medicine and Pediatrics; Joy Munajj-Brown, ARNP, a 24-year industry veteran specializing in Women’s Health; and Ronald Borge, MD, a 21-year industry veteran specializing in Pediatrics. Hours of operation for the Miami Gardens facility are 8 am – 5 pm Monday thru Friday. Appointments are recommended, although walk-ins are accepted.
