(BLACK PR WIRE) -- Miami, FL – Simone Cook has been named Account Coordinator at Sonshine Communications. She brings several years of professional experience and diverse skillsets to the agency’s corporate family.

Simone will work with Morris and the team to coordinate some of the firm’s local and statewide accounts, and she will serve as the Account Coordinator for Sonshine’s sister company, Black PR Wire, Inc.

Prior to her arrival, Cook served as a team member of an internet marketing company where she was responsible for client’s online marketing initiatives. While there, she became well-versed in SEO (search engine optimization) and WordPress-based web-design and development.

Before joining the team, Cook also as served as an intern at a local PR agency where she supported several clients in their public relations and marketing efforts. In that position, she actively pitched media and secured media coverage, developed social media campaigns and assisted with the planning and organizations of events.

Upon graduating college, Cook played an instrumental role in creating an Integrated Marketing Communications campaign for Discovery Communications’ Spanish-language network, D Familia, along with her peers. She is a recent graduate of Florida International University where she was immersed in the public relations field and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications.
