(BPRW) All Def and Caffeine Announce the Highly-Anticipated Return of Roast Me: Season 5 and the Roast This Podcast

(Black PR Wire) LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- All Def, a Culture Genesis company, today announced the highly-anticipated return of its coveted online comedy show Roast Me: Season 5. Created by L.A. director and musician Patrick Cloud, the show will be making its debut on social broadcasting platform Caffeine in an 8-event, interactive series after a one-year hiatus due to COVID quarantine. The interactivity of the Caffeine platform will give the All Def community an opportunity to “be in the same room” as the comedians and participate in the roasts themselves and engage with the talent during the live broadcasts—a first in the comedy space.

In addition to Roast Me: Season 5, All Def will broadcast a new series, Roast This, a weekly roast of the latest headlines in entertainment and pop culture news each week from the most popular Roast Me comedians.

“We couldn’t have chosen a better partner to be the home of Roast Me and Roast This due to their technology and ability to gather and build communities,” said Cedric J. Rogers, co-founder and CEO of Culture Genesis. “Caffeine’s success with Ultimate Rap League (URL) is another reason we saw a culture fit, as rap battles aren’t too far from comedy roasts.”

Hosted by Brandon Lewis, the show will feature comedians including Comedian CP; Kraig Smith; Boo Kapone; Billy Sorrells; Brent Taylor; David Lucas, and DoBoy.

Additionally, Roast Me: Season 5 will feature new talent out of Atlanta including Kelly KDubb; Ronnie Jordan; Lavar Walker; Chris Sett it off Jones; Navv Greene; Tyler Chronicles—and other surprise celebrity guests.
