Odyssey Woman Rosalind Brewer was recently named to the Amazon Board of Directors, becoming the second African-American woman to serve as a Director in the company’s history. S

he previously broke ground as the first woman and first Black chief operating officer at Starbucks, and now will serve as the only African-American on Amazon’s ten-member board.

We are so proud to have Rosalind’s representation at the table of one of the world’s most powerful companies. In her role as a Director, she will serve on the leadership development and compensation committees, two key areas where multicultural women face disparity.
