(Black PR Wire) MIAMI, FL.– After the great success of the#HealthyHappensHere Social Media challenge contest last summer, the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County’s Consortium for a Healthier Miami-Dade, Marketing and Membership committee is very excited to announce the Spring Edition of the #HealthyHappensHere Social Media Challenge. The challenge calls for community members to share their unique ways of staying healthy. Through this challenge, Consortium for a Healthier Miami-Dade hopes to motivate each and every member of the community to stay healthy during this spring season.
How to participate?
Step 1: Snap a picture or a short video clip of you making health happen during this spring season. This can include enjoying healthy meals with your family, preparing healthy treats, exercising and even walking up the stairwell at work – be unique and creative.
Step 2: Share your photo on the social media of your choice (Facebook and Twitter) using the Hashtag #HealthyHappensHere and be sure to tag @MakeHealthyHppn.
The entry period for the Healthy Happens Here Challenge runs through April 16, 2018. Entries will be judged by the members of the Executive Board committee. The winner(s) will be announced by Monday, May 7, 2018. The Winner(s) will receive a gift certificate to Aromas Del Peru, the official sponsor of the #HealthyHappensHere Challenge.
About the Consortium for a Healthier Miami-Dade
The Consortium for a Healthier Miami-Dade was established in 2003 by the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County to address the increasing rate of chronic disease in the community.
The Consortium is comprised of seven committees and guided by the goals and objectives established in Healthy People 2020. It is comprised of over 300 organizations, all united by the common belief that through collaboration and prevention-focused initiatives, Miami-Dade County residents can live longer, healthier and happier lives.
