(BPRW) Jessie Trice Community Health Center to Provide Health Insurance Enrollment at Upcoming Outreach Events

Events to take place January 28th & 30th

(Black PR Wire) Miami, FL – The Jessie Trice Community Health Center (JTCHC) provides quality health services and information to members of its community. In staying true to this standard, JTCHC will host a series of health enrollment fairs to ensure residents are informed of resources available. The first event will take place Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 10 – 3 p.m. at the Betty T. Recreational Community Center, located at 3000 NW 199th Street in Miami Gardens. The second event will take place Monday, January 30, 2017 from 11 – 3 p.m. at the JTCHC Main Center, located at 5361 N.W. 22nd Avenue in Miami. The events are free and open to the public.

During the events, JTCHC will offer health insurance enrollment and educational information about their services. Monday’s event will also serve as a kick-off for JTCHC’s 50th Anniversary with performances by The Miami Northwestern Senior High School Drumline, Miami Gardens Super Soul Steppers and live broadcasting by AM 1490 WMBM.

The Jessie Trice Community Health Center, Inc. is a Florida 501(c)3, not-for-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center, which has been serving Miami-Dade County since 1967. A community mainstay, JTCHC owns and/or operates fifty-four (54) facilities, which includes twelve (12) Comprehensive Primary Care centers, including a women’s substance use residential program, forty (40) school-based locations and two (2) university centers.
