(Black PR Wire) August is the month of another key observance that deserves recognition and requires our attention: National Minority Donor Awareness Month. 

This observance is a collaborative effort by national organizations to save and improve the quality of life of diverse communities by encouraging organ, eye, and tissue donation.

Our call to action is to encourage donor registration, and promote healthy living and disease prevention to decrease the need for transplantation.  Together, we can make the difference of a lifetime and help our communities thrive.
