Ms. Sims Wilson, formerly President of M.R. Beal & Company, a leading investment bank specializing in municipal and corporate finance, will be responsible for helping to drive revenue growth and for overseeing new business generation across the firm’s various business lines.

Ms. Sims Wilson joins CastleOak Securities with over 25 years of experience in equity sales, and corporate and mortgage finance. As President of M.R. Beal & Company, she was responsible for that firm’s revenue growth with corporations, public pension plans, and institutional asset management firms. Previously, Ms. Sims Wilson was Executive Vice President and Head of Equity Sales and Trading at M.R. Beal and also served as the firm’s Senior Vice President and Director of the Federal Finance Group, where she was responsible for the securitization of single family, multi-family and commercial mortgage loans for the Resolution Trust Corporation and other federal agencies. Earlier, she was Vice President at Bear Stearns and began her career at Lehman Brothers in corporate finance.

She is a former Board Member of the Bond Market Association, currently known as the Securities Industry Financial Management Association (SIFMA) and is a former member of Fannie Mae’s National Advisory Council. Ms. Sims Wilson has also served as chairman of the Sub-Saharan African Advisory Board of the Export Import Bank of the United States. Ms. Sims Wilson received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Yale University.
