(BPRW) RICARDO FORBES RECEIVES AWARD DURING MIAMI-DADE COUNTY DAYS EVENT IN TALLAHASSEE

(BLACK PR WIRE) – Ricardo Forbes, Corporate Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer of Baptist Health South Florida, received a special award during the Miami-Dade County Days 25th Anniversary Awards Luncheon in Tallahassee, Florida. The ticketed event on April 4 was held at the Double Tree Hotel Ballroom. The awards ceremony was sponsored by Miami-Dade County League of Cities. Forbes received the Robert B. Ingram Diversity Award, presented annually to an individual who embodies the multiethnic diversity for which Dade County is the mosaic. Robert B. Ingram was a mayor, police chief and school board member who embraced diversity and made it his core value.

“I am honored to receive this prestigious award and look forward to continuing to lead diversity initiatives for Baptist Health in the South Florida region,” says Forbes. “Creating a diverse, inclusive environment has been an ongoing journey at Baptist Health and we have no plans to veer from it, as we want to remain “The Best Place for Diversity.”

It goes without saying that Ricardo Forbes is well-deserving of this award. From the workforce to workplace and wider South Florida community, Forbes is helping Baptist Health to build the best place for diversity. As Chief Diversity Officer, Forbes works closely with the human resources staff charged with recruiting, hiring and developing retention programs for the 13,000+ employees throughout Baptist Health. The consummate professional, Forbes has been with Baptist Health since 1997 and has a wide and varied background.
