(BPRW) BOND HEALTH CENTER, INC. PRESENTS HEALTHY WEIGHT WEEK 2014

- Encourages Healthy Living to Kick-off 2014 -

(BLACK PR WIRE) – TALLAHASSEE, FLA – The Bond Community Health Center, Inc. presents “Change 4 Life” fitness program on Jan. 23, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in recognition of Healthy Weight Week 2014 at its South Gadsden’s facility.

The program encourages everybody from the community to experience new and healthier eating habits, as well as learning easy home workout routines. Dr. Jenice Rankins, nutritionist, will be incorporating her intervention program, WATE (Walking and Talking about Eating), which emphasizes on childhood obesity prevention. Florida State University nutrition & exercise students will be assisting as well.

“A lot of people think that being slim is healthy, but that’s not necessarily the case. It’s all about what you eat and exercising,” says Sheila Morris, community outreach coordinator for Bond Community Health Center.

Bond provides mobile health care, several medicine practices, counseling, STD screening, specialized health care, and much more. It is open Monday through Saturday. The center’s website is www.bondchc.com.
