(Black PR Wire) Miramar, FL– Miramar Cultural Center | ArtsPark offers a free audience participatory presentation introducing Proyecto Papalotl on November 21 at 2PM in the Miramar Botanical Garden, Miramar Town Center, 2400 Civic Center Place, Miramar, FL 33025.
The presentation is designed for all ages and ability levels. Participants will gain an understanding and appreciation of the basic elements of Indigenous Mesoamerican Danza.
Using traditional Mesoamerican rhythms and movements, Proyecto Papalotl will use the art of dance to heighten public awareness of the role all humans play in the ecosystem. By highlighting key natural processes taking place in our environment, this presentation will ignite and encourage audiences to become active participants in the dance of life that we all share.
Through this presentation, audience members and participants will learn how to formulate the rhythms, steps and sequences that both preserve and revive this ancient form of cultural expression. From within the art of the Danza emerge the history, science and math of those who came before us so that we can learn to build a stronger future together. Come watch, listen, learn and move to the sound of the drum.
