(Black PR Wire) School Board Vice Chair Dr. Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall will host the 2016 “No More Broken Hearts” Domestic Violence Workshop on Saturday, February 20, 2016, 9.a.m., at Georgia Jones-Ayers Middle School, School at 1331 N.W. 46th Street, in Miami. The one-day workshop will provide information on domestic violence intervention and prevention and link residents with service providers.

The workshop will include a conflict resolution and teen-dating violence tract for students facilitated by the Jonathan Spikes Foundation’s Affirming Youth and Urgent, Inc. Adult Panels titled, “Finding the U in You, What’s Love Got to Do with It: What is Domestic Violence, and How To Get Out,” will include discussions on intervention, prevention and education.

More than 30 local organizations will be on hand to provide information and resources. Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided.
