(BPRW) Hoop It Up HBCU Tournament to be Broadcast on UBCTV

(Black PR Wire) NEW YORK CITY, NY— UBCTV platform has secured the broadcast rights to the 2024 Hoop It Up HBCU Tournament. Hoop It Up, the popular 3x3 basketball tour established in 1989 and owned by NBA legend Kevin Garnett, launched its first HBCU competition last year which consisted of intramural 3x3 competition at select HBCU colleges. Allen University, Benedict College, Claflin University, Clinton College, and South Carolina State University competed in the Hoop It Up HBCU Championship. Benedict won the men's championship and South Carolina State won the women's title. The deal inked with UBCTV network allows worldwide eyes on the event in 2024 and there is great anticipation for this year's tournament. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase our 3x3 HBCU Tournament this year, to new audiences,” said George Daniel, CEO of Big Ticket Sports, operator of Hoop It Up. Dates and locations for the 2024 Hoop It Up HBCU tournament will be announced in the near future.
