Support the JTCHF on November 21 during Give Miami Day
(Black PR Wire) When you give, it comes back to you. The Jessie Trice Community Health Foundation, Inc. (JTCHF), the funding arm of the Jessie Trice Community Health System, Inc. (JTCHS), has been giving of its time and quality health care services for decades. The JTCHF is one of the many organizations accepting contributions during the Miami Foundation’s Give Miami Day, set for Thursday, November 21st, from midnight until 11:59 p.m., and with early giving starting on November 17.
During this period, supporters will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our community by supporting JTCHF to help it continue reaching the underserved and uninsured population and ensuring that everyone receives the care they need. Donations support the following key initiatives:
- The Fatima Zafar Medication Assistance Fund - This fund assists uninsured/underinsured patients with chronic illnesses in obtaining medication.
- The Annie Neasman Scholarship Fund - Established to support high school seniors pursuing a degree in the field of science.
- Healthcare/Health Provider Sponsor - This fund is for donors interested in sponsoring a patient, group of patients, healthcare provider, or community health worker.
- Annual Toy Drive - Established to provide toys to children of all ages during the Christmas Holiday season.
- The Jessica Clyne Fund - This fund was established to continue the rehabilitative work for the women of Reaves House who are being treated for substance use.
In the spirit of giving, the Foundation invites the community to consider making a donation to help raise funds for its vital causes. “No amount is too small,” said Sherwood DuBose, chairman of Jessie Trice Community Health Foundation’s Board of Directors. ” Your contribution will help us support Jessie Trice Community Health System in meeting the needs of our community. We encourage everyone to participate in Give Miami Day and support this impactful organization.”
