(BPRW) Let's Talk Innovation set for 9.30.20

The Honey Pot CEO, Beatrice Dixon, to headline South Florida Innovation Conference

(Black PR Wire) Boca Raton, FL - Following the success of its 1st annual innovation conference held in Boca Raton, FL,  Let’s Talk Innovation is proud to announce that Beatrice Dixon, CEO of The Honey Pot Company, will headline its 2020 Innovation conference on September 30th.

Dixon, the founder of the wildly popular plant-based feminine care line The Honey Pot Company, is 1 of less than 1% of women of color who have raised $1 million in venture capital. She found her story making headlines after appearing in a Target commercial where she spoke about her product and how she hoped to inspire little girls of color to create their own businesses. When the commercial aired Dixon began receiving online harassment and a flood of negative reviews on her Trustpilot page due to her comments which in turn mobilized an army of supporters to back the brand and flood the page with positive reviews causing the brand to go viral.

Let’s Talk attendees can expect to hear Dixon speak about the road to raising venture capital, creating a sustainable brand, scaling your business and more.

Dixon joins several other powerhouse speakers at Let’s Talk including CEO of Code Newbie, Saron Yitbarek; CEO of Grovest, Jeff Miller; CEO of Quartz Water Source, Jonathan Quarles; CEO of USDV Capital, Todd Billings; Media Strategist, Serena Spates; and VP of Gelt Financial Noah Miller.

“Through dynamic keynote, panel and fireside discussion topics, Let’s Talk provides a platform that encourages job creation, sustainable growth, business development, social impact, and investment,” said Serena Spates, content strategist and Let’s Talk moderator “It’s a one-stop-shop to make genuine business development connections. It’s really a dream come true for companies and entrepreneurs.”

Let’s Talk, originally planned to be held at Florida Atlantic University, will now be held virtually. Attendees will get a chance to interact with the speakers during the conference. They’ll be able to submit comments and questions that the speakers can address on the spot. “We really see it as a huge opportunity that we can now welcome attendees from all over the world. Our goal is to build a bridge between investors and the business communities that will help cultivate innovation and business development opportunities,” said Christopher Redding, CEO, and founder. “We’re excited to bring something new that will enhance partnerships through collaboration within those communities. Coming together to create new avenues and ways of solving problems is what it’s all about.”
