(Black PR Wire) -- NAMIC (National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications) is now accepting nominations for the 2019-2020 Class XIX of the Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP). ELDP is offered in partnership with the globally celebrated University of Virginia Darden School of Business. The school’s faculty of world-class academics deliver research-anchored, robust, current content focused on the leadership agility and innovation that power the media and entertainment industry.

ELDP targets upper-mid level executives of color. The program addresses some of the industry’s most persistent challenges: increasing the diversity of the industry’s executive suit; retention of executives of color; and maximizing the ROI of a workforce that comprises an unparalleled diversity of thought, perspective, and culture.

"NAMIC’s ELDP is such a unique program that it not only empowers me to perform at a higher level with confidence, but also equips me with the tools to help others in my organization to grow. The faculty and my classmates are like family, I’m honored to be around them and learn from them. The amount of support and the knowledge they share makes the curriculum so much more rewarding than it already is.” says Wen Tan, VP, Accounting & Financial Reporting, A+E Networks, ELDP Class XVIII.

Tuition for the Executive Leadership Development Program is $24,000 per participant, covering all books, case studies, materials, and meals. Travel and lodging expenses are the responsibility of the participant's sponsoring companies.

Nominations for 2019-2020 ELDP Class XIX are due no later than Friday, August 16, 2019.
