(BPRW) Scholarships for March at UNCF

NCF offers several national and regional scholarships that close in March. Apply today!

UNCF is offering great scholarship opportunities this month! Check out these UNCF scholarships and internships currently open for applications, and complete your application before the deadlines. Look at some of the opportunities UNCF offers high school and college students that can help them get to and through college. Visit UNCF.org/Scholarships any time to see what is open.

Remember: Complete all steps for the applications!
You will not be considered for a scholarship, internship or program until you submit all the information and essays the application requires.

Etta Gray Memorial Scholarship (Upstate South Carolina)
The scholarship is open to Upstate South Carolina residents who are attending one of the qualifying technical or community colleges in the area. The program will award up to $5,000. Closes March 10

EXTENDED to March 12:  UNCF STEM Scholars Program
The program identifies and provides scholarship and academic support for a total of 500 talented African American high school students who aspire to earn STEM degrees and to pursue careers in STEM fields. Closes March 12.

Oracle Corporate Scholars Program
The program includes scholarship support for African American college sophomores or juniors who are pursuing a major in computer science or engineering, business, mathematics, marketing, or human resources and related majors. Successful candidates also will be offered internships at Oracle headquarters during the summer of 2019. Closes March 15.

The Shirley Levitin Scholarship (Franklin County, Ohio)
The program is for 2018 graduates from Franklin County, Ohio, who participated in sanctioned athletics and maintained academic excellence, and awards up to $2,475. Closes March 17.

Ray Charles Endowed Scholarship
Juniors attending a UNCF-member institution are eligible for one of five need-based scholarships of up to $4,500. Closes March 18.

The Jay Charles Levine Scholarship (Michigan)
The program offers up to $3000 to Michigan residents who are freshmen attending a UNCF-member institution. Closes March 19.

BNSF Railway Foundation Scholarship (Tarrant County, Texas)
The program is open to Tarrant County residents who are majoring in business or finance at a UNCF-member institution, or any other fully accredited US located college or university. Closes March 22.

The Boulé Foundation Scholarship
These $4,000 merit-based scholarships will be awarded to entering college freshmen students (fall 2019) of African American descent attending four-year, accredited, non-profit degree granting colleges and universities of their choice. Open to citizens or permanent residents of selected areas of the United States, a resident of London, England, or a citizen of the Bahamas. Closes March 31.

SUEZ Corporate Scholars Program
The program is open to students in qualifying majors in a four-year college. The program also offers a summer internship in one of SUEZ’s New York or New Jersey locations. Closes March 31.

The Beverly J. Gilliam Scholarship for Foreign Study
The program offers financial assistance to students at UNCF-member institutions, who are accepted into recognized summer study abroad programs.  The program offers up to $6,500. Closes April 4.

Montgomery County Scholarship (Ohio)
The scholarship is open to high school seniors, who are permanent residents of Montgomery County, OH and who are planning to attend an HBCU or any other accredited college or university. Closes May 3.
