(BPRW) The African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (AACCNJ) Announces that the Paul Robeson Witherspoon Jackson Community Honors Award presented to Dr. John E. Harmon, Sr., Founder, President and CEO, AACCNJ

(Black PR Wire) Trenton, NJ - The African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (AACCNJ) is pleased to announce that Dr. John E. Harmon, Sr. was presented with the Paul Robeson Witherspoon Jackson Community Honors Award. This esteemed recognition was bestowed upon him by the Joint Effort Witherspoon Jackson Community Princeton Safe Streets Summer Program on August 4th, at Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church in Princeton, NJ.

Dr. Harmon was nominated and selected for this honor in recognition of his significant community service and unwavering commitment to advancing equity, opportunity, and community benefits throughout New Jersey. The awards presentation was a key component of the William Brooks Day - Community Discussion on DEI: The National Pushback and Impact on Local Communities, which took place from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. Furthermore, Dr. Harmon engaged in a "Fireside Chat" during the event, offering valuable insights on the implications of the national pushback against DEI for the Black Community.

The 2025 Paul Robeson Witherspoon Jackson Community Honors was extended to Dr. John Harmon, Founder, CEO & President of the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey, and Rev. Dr. Charles Boyer, Founder & Executive Director of Salvation and Social Justice.
