(BPRW) THE LATE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. STREET NAMING CEREMONY IN BROOKLYN ON JUNE 10TH!

ST. JAMES PLACE TO BE CHANGED TO CHRISTOPHER “NOTORIOUS B.I.G.” WALLACE WAY

(Black PR Wire) BROOKLYN, NY,–  As the music world celebrates what would have been the 47th birthday of the late Notorious B.I.G., Ms. Voletta Wallace, T’Yanna Wallace, Christopher Jordan Wallace and The Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation are excited to announce the official street naming of Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace Way. The street naming ceremony will take place on June 10th from 12pm-2pm in Brooklyn, on St. James Place, at the Fulton Street intersection. Ms. Voletta Wallace, mother of the late rapper, and his children, T’Yanna and Christopher, will be in attendance, along with Brooklyn politicians and a few of his closest celebrity friends.

Brooklyn’s own Christopher George Latore Wallace, best known as The Notorious B.I.G., blew up to Hip Hop stardom in the early 90s. The Bad Boy artist released his critically acclaimed debut album Ready to Die in 1994, which is certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His second album, titled Life After Death, hit #1 on the Billboard charts and was certified with diamond status in 2000, the highest RIAA certification given to a solo hip-hop album. Though his career was short lived, due to his untimely death in 1997, B.I.G. is still considered one of the greatest and most influential rappers of all time, and is continuously celebrated by his peers and millions of fans worldwide. More details about the event to be announced in the coming weeks.
