Today, June 4, marks the beginning of the next chapter in the career of Elijah J. The former Mindless Behavior lead singer and accomplished Broadway actor will debut his highly anticipated new single, “Release” across all digital formats.

Co-produced by Elijah himself with a guest verse by rapper Koi, “Release” is a hypnotic mid-tempo groove that will undoubtedly rock the sound systems of ars and clubs alike across the country just in time for the summer. The infectious track serves as the first single from his forthcoming I am Elijah J EP.

About Elijah: Chosen from nearly 8,000 kids, Elijah began his professional career at the age of 9 when he was cast to play Young Simba in Disney’s Broadway musical, The Lion King. He then went on to land a coveted spot as one of five lead singers in the national TV/Live singing group, Kidz Bop. Elijah’s stint with Kidz Bop had him touring the country extensively and recording four Billboard Top 5 albums. In 2013 Elijah was invited to join Global R&B band and Epic recording artist Mindless Behavior as their new lead singer.
