Urban League of Greater Southwest Ohio's premier leadership development program selects 22 dynamic professionals for Class 29
(Black PR Wire) Cincinnati, Ohio – Class 29 of the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio’s prestigious African American Leadership Development Program (AALDP) has been selected. Twenty-two senior-level African American leaders representing business, healthcare, non-profit and government sectors are on track to complete a 10-month immersive civic learning program covering Cincinnati’s rich cultural history, power and influence, government, advocacy and economics framed in Black history and perspective.
AALDP is the most highly regarded professional development opportunity and networking platform for African American professionals in Greater Cincinnati. Through 10 interactive sessions led by nationally recognized expert facilitators, participants discover themselves, delve into critical community issues and explore leadership lessons.
Class 29 will graduate on June 23, 2023. Comprehensive coursework and engaging activities enable AALDP graduates to:
- Gain intimate knowledge of critical issues facing African Americans in Southwestern Ohio and the workplace
- Identify and address opportunities and challenges for professional growth
- Prepare and position for future success
- Cultivate community and enhance their professional network by connecting with African American leaders in the Greater Cincinnati area

AALDP is the longest-running program of the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio.
