Selected IDEAtor apprentices will begin a two-part, year-long, full-time, internship-style program starting in June 2023.
(Black PR Wire) Jacksonville, FL – Since 2011, HBCU Lifestyle has connected students and graduates of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) with the people, places, and resources that help define their college experiences and careers. Today, HBCU Lifestyle continues to advance this effort by supporting the Insight Association's IDEA Council 2023–24 IDEAtor Apprenticeship.
“A big part of our mission is to provide HBCU students and alumni with opportunities for professional development and career growth."
- Garrick Gibson, Co-founder, HBCU Lifestyle
The program is for college graduates, early career professionals, and/or new career seekers interested in starting and building a career in the research, insights, and analytics industry.
"Here at the Insights Association, we commissioned a research study to understand the industry’s employment composition. It confirmed a striking lack of diversity in the profession. In our efforts to be more representative of the general population, we are working to inform various communities about the insights industry and provide opportunities to be part of it."
- Charlene Darko, Director, Chapters and Councils at Insights Association
"There isn’t one path or preferred major to get into the industry; the insights profession is for everyone with a curious mind. Whether you like to dive into data, have deep personal conversations with consumers, or enjoy crafting a research-based story with words or infographics, you can excel in this field."
- Art Flanagin, Vice President, Communications at Insights Association
"We employ people with different talents, specialties, lifestyles, and college majors. Therefore, our career growth possibilities reach people from virtually every background, even those who are already in their careers and looking for change."
- Ana Maria Santos, Co-creator and Founder of Equitas Insight
