(Black PR Wire) Reading Partners celebrates Black History Month with a curated book list: Uplifting Black opportunities, dreams, and joy! Featuring Black authors and stories to immerse Young readers into colorful African American history throughout the year.

Reading Partners — a national literacy non-profit led by CEO Adeola Whitney, works with Title 1 school districts, as a resource, to support youth aspiring to age-level reading based on national, state and local English Language Arts standards. 

During an interview, Reading Partners could speak to:

  • Meaningful reading to improve literacy in Black & Brown communities 
  • Black History education at every age level
  • How to convey the importance of Black History throughout the year
