It's not often that you find a woman that is so multi-tasked, she can excel in two industries simultaneously. But she does exist and her name is Cynthia Stafford. Cynthia is the consummate professional who has been fortunate to gain extensive experience as an accomplished public and private sector communications executive. With over 15 years of experience in the field of governmental and community affairs, public relations, marketing and advertising, Cynthia is an industry connoisseur. A woman of many talents, Cynthia earned a B.A. degree in Communication Arts from St. Thomas University. Cynthia began her illustrious career at the Family Christian Association of America as a Grant Writing Consultant, a position that she held for two years. She quickly moved up the corporate ranks and became the Development Director.

Eager to broaden her horizons and continue growing and thriving, Cynthia returned to her Alma Mater (St. Thomas University) to earn her Juris Doctorate. After strengthening her skills, Cynthia landed a job at the Office of Congresswoman Carrie Meek, where she served as a Congressional Aide to one of her favorite role models until the Congresswoman's retirement. Determined to add legal expertise to her wide repertoire, Cynthia joined the Dade County Bar Association Legal Aid Society as a Certified Legal Intern and soon became a Project Attorney. In 2005, Cynthia was offered an opportunity to serve as Associate Vice President of Sonshine Communications, a full service public relations, marketing and advertising firm. She saw this as an opportunity to return to her creative roots and to excel in both worlds "" Marketing and Legal Affairs, so she eagerly accepted the challenge. Just recently, Cynthia was nominated by Congressman Kendrick Meek to be recognized as an Emerging Leader at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's 36th Annual Legislative Conference. As a lady of distinction with such an illustrious career and successful track record of accomplishments, Cynthia Stafford is guaranteed to remain an emerging leader that will shine brightly for all to see!
