A new year is here! On behalf of the Black PR Wire team, we wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous new year. Just about everyone made resolutions that we vowed to stick to this year: think more creatively, learn a new skill, lose weight, spend more time with family and friends … the list goes on and on. It’s important that we keep and stick to our resolutions, as it builds character, diligence, and determination traits.
This Holiday season, African Americans throughout the nation … Will gather together in celebration; To reverence the birth of Jesus Christ; And rejoice for the day we were given eternal life. We will rush to fulfill all of our shopping needs; And go out of our way to do good deeds.
We all know that giving is a part of living. Each year, everyone looks forward to Thanksgiving Day to give thanks for the many blessings that they have received throughout the year. Thanksgiving is a time for family gatherings and stuffing our bellies with turkeys, stuffing, and homemade pumpkin or potato pie.

Father figures have important roles in our lives …
They teach us to be strong and how to survive.
Father figures raise their sons from boys to men …
They protect their daughters until they become warrior women.
In recognition of Father’s Day, Black PR Wire has launched the month long campaign, entitled “Father Figures” whereby we honor and recognize African American men who have made a profound impact in the lives of hundreds of people on a local, statewide, national and even global level.
